[Enjoy the flavors of a world-class chef in Hakone!] Hakone Diner/箱根食堂, a casual dining restaurant produced by world-renowned chef Nobu (Nobuyuki Matsuhisa), has opened in Hakone. 👏 @hakonediner ◎Overseen by the Nobu brand, known for its Michelin-starred restaurants. ◎Not a high-end establishment, but a casual diner-style restaurant that anyone can drop into. ◎Cuisine based on Japanese cuisine, incorporating Nobu's signature refined essence. Everything about the food, atmosphere, service, and price was excellent! ‼️‼️‼️ Recommendations include the Crispy Rice with Spicy Tuna made from sushi rice, Nobu's special "Dry Miso" fries, and the hand-made soba noodles. 😆👍 Crispy Rice with Spicy Tuna is a dish Chef Matsuhisa created after much trial and error, searching for a way to make leftover sushi rice delicious without wasting it. 😊👍You'll enjoy the crispy square rice with chu-toro (medium fatty tuna) dipped in it! Apparently it's hugely popular in New York and around the world! The handmade soba noodles were incredibly chewy and delicious! They apparently make them daily in a sealed soba-making room to accommodate those with soba allergies. 👏 And, the dry miso is especially noteworthy! ‼️ This Nobu original seasoning, made from powdered miso, is packed with the flavor and umami of miso, a taste unlike anything I've ever tasted before. 😆 You can even buy it right in the store! 【Happy Birthday😆🎂✨】 We had a lovely couple from New Zealand stay with us! January 4th was her birthday, so we celebrated with a little something! We were given a piece of artwork related to the Year of the Horse by an artist living in Okinawa, so we gave them one as a gift. In fact, the artist in question designed the chair the Pope sat on when he visited Japan in the past, and has won various awards. 👏🤩 Thank you so much for the wonderful piece!
